December 2011
We practically spent the entire month of December with Frank and Patti on Tortola.  It was so easy to be there.  They are great friends and made us very comfortable.  Even their friends on the hill treated us like family.  We started to feel like we belonged to the Luck Hill Gang.  But we finally departed a few days before Christmas.  We spent a quiet holiday at a beautiful anchorage on St John, one of the U.S. Virgin Islands.  For New Year's Eve, we moved over to St. Thomas where we anchored in the harbor at Charlotte Amalie next to all the cruise ships.  We never go out on New Year's Eve, so this was as close as we were going to get to a party.  In St. Thomas, we reconnected with Steve and Ruth on s/v Clear Day and enjoyed a little island exploring.
