Our holidays were spent in Simpson Lagoon, St. Maarten, mostly partying with Larry and Mary (s/v Berkeley East).

Happy Hour at the Yacht Club watching the boats come into the lagoon at the 5:30 p.m. bridge opening.
Lance, Kimberly, Blake, Garrett and Paige arrive from California on Mike's birthday (12/27). We sailed to St. Bart's for New Year's Eve.


St. Bart's is popular with the rich and famous, and with us there, the beautiful. The sea swell was quite large for the sail back to St. Maarten.

It was amazing to see the planes fly so low right over our heads as they came in for a landing. This beach is at the tip of the runway. As always, it was great fun having the family visit us. And as always, it was hard to say goodbye.
